Verbier Festival Academy
The Verbier Festival offers an opportunity for young artists to train by taking part in the Verbier Festival Academy.
After being selected from the best young talents across the world, participants in the Verbier Festival Academy will see the doors open to them for three weeks of training at the side of some of the greatest artists in classical music. Teaching takes the form of daily masterclasses which are open to the public. Everyone is then free to follow the progress made by the best violinists, pianists, cellists and viola players of the future. Chamber music workshops are also included in the programme. This year, voice coaching revolves around Puccini’s opera La Bohème.
During the Festival, participants in the Verbier Festival Academy give a free concert every day at 4.30 pm in the Cinéma de Verbier, under the title “Verbier Festival Academy presents...”.
