A few words about Courtney Panton

Courtney Panton is a multi-instrumentalist born in Kingston, Jamaica. He plays the electric bass, percussion and guitar. Courtney started his musical journey by playing for the National Dance Theatre Company of Jamaica and became their chief percussionist. As a percussionist, guitarist or bassist he has recorded and toured with premier Jamaican Reggae stars such as Shaggy, Jimmy Cliff, and Dennis Brown. In addition to being an outstanding multi-instrumentalist he is a music producer and currently manages the emerging sensation group, New Kingston, based in New York City. He performs worldwide and records with Monty Alexander and Harlem-Kingston Express.
