True to the spirit of its mission to invest in encouraging young artists, the Verbier Festival works hard to provide musical education to talented young professionals and children through a number of activities.

Thanks to the Verbier Festival Academy, rigorously selected young artists can benefit from the advice of the grand masters in masterclasses. These three weeks of training take place every year during the Festival.

The Verbier Festival Orchestra is a training orchestra with a worldwide reputation. Every year, around one hundred young musicians aged between 17 and 29 receive advice from coaches from the New York Metropolitan Opera Orchestra and play under the batons of the greatest international conductors.

Verbier Festival Discovery offers musically-linked educational and creative activities. The youngest participants attend music or craft workshops, whilst the adults enjoy talks given by artists or experts on classical music.

In addition to this, in recognition of its attachment to the magnificent region which is its home every summer, the Verbier Festival organises visits to schools in the Val de Bagnes each year, accompanied by famous musicians. The students can thus be introduced to the world of music and meet professional musicians. A unique time for sharing and discovery!
