Lost Heritage

Biography

Lost Heritage is a duo of musicians, composers, performers and DJs. From electronic to classical, through numerous sound experiments, François Vasseur and Pierre Chataignon cross musical boundaries to create a hybrid, intense and definitely modern music. Their productions use sounds recorded during their trips around the world, many acoustic instruments as well as the latest musical technologies. Cinematic atmospheres, catchy gimmiks and elegant production define the music of Lost Heritage.

In 2019 Lost Heritage was part of the official selection of the Classical Next festival in Rotterdam in the Club Showcase category. They also created the vernissage show for the exhibition Yves Saint-Laurent at the Musée des Tissus de Lyon, commissioned by the Museum and the Auvergne Rhône-Alpes Region. The group has performed at the Montreux Jazz Festival, at the Grange au lac in Evian, at the Geneva Opera, and in many festivals and clubs in Europe.
