Academy Faculty

Learning at the Verbier Festival Academy is unique for many reasons. It is the only summer Academy in the world where each musician can work with several prestigious teachers and performers one after another over a period of three weeks. The Academy encourages an interdisciplinary approach which opens horizons for curious, emerging professional concert artists.

Testimonials from Faculty

“I feel that the Academy is special because it’s completely focused on the future and on promoting imaginative thinking. The Academy gives seeds of creativity to the younger generation. This is not only amazing for them but also for us professors, it really provides a learning process for us all!”
—
Gábor Takács-Nagy

“All of the participants play a lot of chamber music which I think has incredible importance for everyone today; musicians should have as much contact with all kinds of repertoire as possible.”

Frans Helmerson
