Travelling to Verbier by plane and train

The closest airports to Verbier are Geneva and Zürich. From there, Verbier can be reached by train.

The largest train station close to Verbier is in Martigny.

Getting to Martigny from Geneva: There are direct trains running between Geneva Aiport / Geneva Cornavin station and Martigny. The journey between Geneva Airport and Martigny lasts 1 hour 45 minutes, the journey between Geneva station and Martigny 1 hours 35 minutes.

Getting to Martigny from Zurich: You can reach Martigny from Zurich Airport / Zürich main station, passing through Lausanne or Bern/Visp. The journey between Zürich Airport and Martigny takes between 3 hours 10 minutes and 3 hours 25 minutes, the journey between Zürich main station and Martigny between 2 hours 50 minutes and 3 hours 10 minutes.

From Martigny you can either take a taxi to Verbier, or a regional train to Le Châble (train journey: 27 minutes), from where you can take a cable car up to Verbier. You can also take a PostBus from Le Châble to Verbier. The cable cars between Le Châble and Verbier are operating every day from 8am to 5.30pm.

After concert schuttle service

Do not worry anymore about the way home after evening concerts! We offer a shuttle service from the concerts at 7 pm (Salle des Combins) and 8 pm (Église). Departure 20 min after the end of the concert. Two stops are available (Le Châble and Martigny, at the price of CHF 5.- and CHF 10.-) and the last rail connections to Brig and Geneva are assured.

The post-concert shuttle service is free for RailAway offer holders.

For this summer season 2017 the Commune de Bagnes launches the MobiVerbier digital platform, a website and a mobile application to make it easier to find your way in and around Verbier.  Do not struggle to find out how to travel from Medran to the ‘salle des Combins’ or from the Verbier church to Le Châble or from Verbier to Zurich. Open the website or the application, indicate your point of departure and your destination and MobiVerbier will list all your travel options. For each option MobiVerbier provides you with the timing and duration of the journey and an estimation of its cost and carbon footprint. Then the choice is yours!

Every festivalgoer driving through the Grand Saint-Bernard tunnel benefits from a free ticket on his way back (this offer is only valid if the return journey takes place within the next 72hours and on presentation of a concert ticket).



There are two car parks close to the Salle des Combins. A limited number of parking spaces are available immediately below the Salle des Combins. The Catogne car park is just 7 minutes walk away. The Ermitage car park is 15 minutes walk away. We recommend that you follow signs and directions from the police when parking in the village right before a concert.


Buses operate free of charge within Verbier every day between 8 am and 6 pm. For concerts at the Eglise, please get off at the “Brunet” bus stop.
