Hoi Leong Cheong

Award-winning pianist and Steinway Young Artist Zach Cheong has gained international recognition for performances praised for their “poetic touch and commanding artistry” (South China Morning Post), “refined musicality” (Chopin Magazine, Japan) and “transparent, uncluttered tone” (Gramophone).

He graduated from both the Curtis Institute of Music and The Juilliard School. A First Prize winner of the 19th International Chopin Piano Competition in Asia, he has appeared as a concerto soloist in cities including Hong Kong, Philadelphia, Paris, Marseille, Trondheim, Hilton Head Island, Macao, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Shanghai and Mexico City.
