Christina Nam

Christina Nam has performed on the international stage as a soloist and recitalist, appearing with orchestras such as the Cleveland Orchestra at Severance Hall under the direction of Jahja Ling, and the Simfonia Jakarta Orchestra with Maestra Rebecca Tong. At the age of 14, she won second prize at the Cooper International Violin Competition. She has collaborated with conductors such as Louis Langrée, Robert Trevino and Cristian Măcelaru. A passionate chamber musician, she is a founding member of Trio Amara, formed at Kneisel Hall in 2023 and a gold medalist at the Chesapeake International Chamber Music Competition. Christina is currently studying at the Juilliard School in New York under the direction of Catherine Cho and Donald Weilerstein, as a Greene Foundation Fellow with a full scholarship. Her chamber music mentors include Laurie Smukler, Joel Krosnick and Robert McDonald.
