Trio Concept was founded in 2013 through the youthful encounter of three musicians from Turin. They received the Prix Yves Paternot, the Festival’s highest honor, awarded for their “extraordinary talent and artistic value” following a residency at the Verbier Festival Academy in 2024. Trio Concept successes include becoming a YCAT Artist and winning First Prize at the Schoenfeld Competition in Harbin, China and being chosen as ensemble-in-residence for ProQuartet Paris in 2023. The Trio has been named ECHO Rising Star for the 2025/2026 season, recently made its debut with Beethoven’s Triple Concerto in Taipei and has collaborated with artists such as Bruno Giuranna, Mathieu Herzog, and Giampaolo Pretto.
Upcoming engagements will see the Trio return to Wigmore Hall in London and to the Verbier Festival, as well as make numerous debuts in prestigious venues such as the Konzerthaus Berlin, Concertgebouw Amsterdam, Elbphilharmonie Hamburg, and Tonhalle Zürich.
