The Verbier Festival’s Orchestra Training programmes offer exceptional young musicians intensive training through the experience of rehearsing and performing in an orchestra. Working with leading conductors, coaches and orchestral musicians, participants refine their craft, develop the skills and discipline of professional orchestral playing and perform on the stages of the Verbier Festival.
Orchestra Training brings together two ensembles: the Verbier Festival Junior Orchestra (VFJO) and the Verbier Festival Orchestra (VFO), providing a progression from formative orchestral experience to preparation for a professional career.
