Kathrine Kressmann Taylor's 'Address Unknown' is a short story written as a series of letters between a Jewish art dealer living in San Francisco, and his business partner who had returned to Germany in 1932. The story is credited with having alerted America to the horrors unfolding in Nazi Germany.

Right from his earliest Verbier Festival appearances, Evgeny Kissin has brought his love of poetry and literature to the festival. This evening sees him join forces with Thomas Hampson to present Kathrin Kressmann Taylor’s short story, Address Unknown. Credited with having alerted America to the horrors unfolding in Nazi Germany, it’s written as a series of letters between a Jewish art dealer living in San Francisco, and his business partner who returned to Germany in 1932.
