In homage to Rachmaninoff, the Verbier Festival Orchestra directed by Klaus Mäkelä with the virtuoso Mikhaïl Pletnev launch into the concerto for piano and orchestra No. 2, which brought the composer back to fame after a three-year hiatus. After the intermission, enjoy Strauss Alpine Symphony live from the heart of the Alps in Verbier.
