Academy Singers and instrumentalists
Sip your cocktail while immersing yourself into Cole Porter's world of the Great American Songbook at this cabaret performance by singers and instrumentalists of the Verbier Festival Academy.

Works of Britten, Porter, Satie, Schoenberg et Weill

Down the block from Arnold Schoenberg’s Spanish colonial home in the upscale environs of Brentwood Park in Hollywood, lived Cole Porter. While the connection between the two composers may stop at their shared zip code, there’s no denying the importance both of them played in 20th century music. This cabaret concert brings together singers and instrumentalists of the Academy for a tribute to Cole Porter’s legacy as composer for Broadway and Film in the year of his 130th birthday.
