By making donations of CHF 10,000 and more directly to the Fondation du Verbier Festival, Philanthropic Partners show their affinity to artistic, education and engagement programmes of the Festival and have access to its senior decision makers.
philanthropic partners vs the friends
The Association of Friends of the Verbier Festival is an essential pillar of support to the Festival. Donors looking for a true membership experience with a sense of ownership in their association and its direction may wish to make their donations directly to The Friends. The Association welcomes donations starting at CHF 200. There are number of attractive membership benefits offered to Friends members and administered by the Association’s friendly team. The Friends is a separate legal entity from the Fondation du Verbier Festival and its members are acknowledged in dedicated Friends listings, separate from the Foundation’s Philanthropic Partner acknowledgments.
Philanthropic Partners may not be looking for the same membership experience, but wish to have a closer access to the direct offerings of the Festival and the Festival’s senior decision makers. These donors may choose for their gifts to be used where the Festival most needs support or may direct their donations to the programmes that mean most to them. They receive personal bespoke service from the Festival’s Protocol Team.
The Chairman’s Circle is a group of valued supporters who are passionate about the Verbier Festival’s mission of building a community of exchange between great masters and young artists from all around the world. Its members make an annual contribution of CHF 100,000 for a minimum of three years. Members are invited to reflect on the Verbier Festival and its future with Foundation Board President, Peter Brabeck-Letmathe, Festival Founder & Director, Martin T:son Engstroem, as well as executive management. These gifts may be directed to support a specific Verbier Festival programme.

Through UNLTD’s Kids programmes, the Festival has made a long-term commitment of exposing music and culture to children, through engaging and fun in-classroom projects, such as its popular Storytellers programme, and during the Festival each summer.
