Ticket ordering procedure

The customer is not limited in the number of tickets he wishes to purchase at the normal rate.
As a general rule, no reduction is granted in the “Premium” category.
Orders are processed by the Verbier Festival in the order in which they are received, subject to availability.
Reservations for groups are open from the opening date of the general public ticket office under the conditions laid down for single tickets. For all requests for reservations for groups of more than 10 people, the organiser can contact the Verbier Festival ticket office directly to discuss special conditions for receiving this group.

Prices & payment methods

Prices are in CHF (Swiss francs) and include 2.5% VAT.
Prices are indicated on the basis of the normal rates in place at the time of the order. The Verbier Festival reserves the right to modify the prices of shows at any time.
However, these modifications will have no effect on the price of orders that have already been confirmed.
Reduced price tickets or promotions from our partners cannot be combined.
The “Bagnard” tariff is reserved for permanent residents of the Commune of Bagnes. It offers a 40% reduction on categories A to C in Salle des Combins and category 1 tickets for concerts in Église. No reduction is granted for non-numbered concerts in Salle des Combins and the Église. This rate is applicable to one ticket per person and per concert, within the limit of available seats and cannot be combined with any other discount. A certificate of residence 2019-2020 is to be provided when ordering by telephone, mail order or internet.
The reduced rate applies to students, apprentices, persons undergoing training, and children under 16 years of age. The ticket is CHF 25, except in Premium and A categories. Proof of identity must be provided when ordering by telephone, mail order or online.
A handling and shipping fee of CHF 6.00 will be charged for all tickets sent by post.
For orders placed online or sent electronically, no shipping costs apply.
The following methods of payment are accepted:

  • Credit Card: Mastercard, Visa, American Express
  • Bank and postal transfers: to the account of the Verbier Festival Foundation (e-Banking or payment slip)
  • Verbier Festival gift vouchers
  • In cash at the ticket office during the Festival

Online payment is made in accordance with the general terms and conditions of Saferpay payment system.
All information is protected and encrypted before transmission to the processing centre.
This security is ensured by the SSL2 protocol and is certified in accordance with the Payment Card Industry.

Once tickets have been invoiced, no changes or refunds will be accepted.
Any payment method not listed in these terms & conditions won’t be accepted by the Verbier Festival.

Execution of ticket orders

For orders placed by mail, the attributed seats may be transferred to an upper or lower category, in case there are no more seats available in the initial category requested by the customer, subject to the customer’s prior agreement.
In this particular case, the Verbier Festival advises clients who have opted for bank transfer payment to wait for a confirmation of their reservation before proceeding with the wire transfer. For payments made by credit card, the debit will be automatically modified.
In the event that the client who has placed an order does not receive a reply within 3 weeks of the order being placed, he or she should contact the Verbier Festival by phone +41 (0)848 771 882.

Changes in the programme

As the programme is drawn up well in advance, the Verbier Festival reserves the right to modify the programme or distribution if necessary, or if the conditions are not met to enable the concert to be performed as initially planned. These changes will not give the right to any refund.
Only a complete cancellation of the concert, due to the Verbier Festival’s fault, may give the right to a refund. The face value of the ticket will be refunded upon request within one month since the date of the cancelled concert, and by providing the original ticket and bank account details.
If the concert has to be interrupted past half of its duration, the ticket will not be refunded.

Tickets issuance

Tickets can be :

  • Sent by post when ordered by phone or mail
  • Printed at home by the customer in the case of online order. These must be printed on white A4 paper and be legible.
  • Downloaded to a mobile phone by the customer in case of online order. You will then have to present your mobile phone with the Mobile-Ticket at the entrance of the hall.
  • Issued at the ticket offices during the Festival

Nota bene: ticket orders made 10 days before the start of the Festival are no longer mailed out, but can be collected from the main Verbier Festival ticket office as soon as it opens. Tickets will be issued as soon as payment is received and sent by post to the address given at the time of ordering. The Verbier Festival cannot be held responsible for the loss, theft or delay in delivery of tickets. Any change of postal or e-mail address must be notified in writing to the following address: Billetterie du Verbier Festival – Rue Jean-Jacques Rousseau 4 – 1800 Vevey – Switzerland. Any ticket that cannot be sent due to an unreported change of address will not give the right to any refund. Duplicates: in the event of loss or damage to your tickets, duplicates can be issued by contacting our ticket office. Please note that each duplicate cancels the original ticket, and therefore cannot, under any circumstances, pass the access control in the hall.

Use of tickets

Tickets are not taken back, exchanged or refunded, even in the event of loss or theft. They must be presented on request and are not valid without the control counterfoil. Any resale of a ticket at a price higher than that shown on the front is strictly forbidden. Only buy your tickets at authorised points of sale.

The buyer is solely responsible for his ticket. He assumes full responsibility in the event of theft, loss or fraud. Each ticket is unique: the bar code it contains will be scanned at the entrance and will only allow admission of one person. Thus, only the first person to present the ticket will be admitted to the performance. For this reason, it is forbidden to reproduce, duplicate or forge the ticket in any way.

Any ticket holder acquired as part of this offer is not allowed, under penalty of possible legal action, from using it for any promotional or commercial purposes whatsoever. In particular, unless specifically agreed by the Verbier Festival, any sale or exchange of tickets is strictly prohibited. In this respect, the Verbier Festival reserves the right to refuse access to its halls to any holder of a ticket acquired from an organisation other than the Verbier Festival or any third party duly authorised by it.

Conditions for admission to concert halls

Each ticket entitles the holder to one seat only. Ticket holders are not allowed to selling or distributing any product or article whatsoever within the Verbier Festival grounds.

Out of respect for the audience and the artists, access to the hall will only be permitted, once the concert has begun, to available seats and at the appropriate time, upon indication by the welcoming staff. Numbered seating is no longer guaranteed after the time indicated on the ticket.

Tickets are not valid as soon as their holders leave the event. All persons inside the Verbier Festival site must comply with the safety regulations in force.

To be valid, tickets must not be detached from their control stump.

Electronic tickets must bear a bar code or QR code of the original size, an be legible. This barcode ticket is unique. Its validity will be checked at the entrance to the venue.The ticket is valid only once: photocopies and forgeries will not be accepted. It is forbidden to purchase tickets from sources outside the official Verbier Festival sales outlets, as the customer has no guarantee of validity of the ticket.

It is strictly forbidden to photograph, film or record the concert.

Mobile phones must be switched off during the concert. It is forbidden to smoke in Verbier Festival concert venues.


Requests for refund for medical reasons certificate are not automatically refunded and will be examined by the Verbier Festival Management upon presentation of a medical cetificate. Only the person concerned by the medical certificate can claim refund of his/her tickets.

Subject to the foregoing provisions, any complaint must be made in writing and sent to the Verbier Festival by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt, to the following address

The Verbier Festival shall elect domicile at its head office. In the event of any dispute concerning the execution of the contract of sale or the payment of the price, the Court of Entremont (Valais) shall have sole jurisdiction. Except in the case of special written agreements, all orders automatically imply the buyer’s adherence to our general conditions of sale.
