Unlimited @VF 2020

AWAKEN YOUR CURIOSITY THIS SUMMER

Unlimited—the Verbier Festival’s cultural engagement incubator—stimulates curiosity for arts and culture with a focus on music. Each summer in Verbier and neighbouring communities, Unlimited offers a (mountain) range of activities that provides a new angle on the Verbier Festival—for children, night owls, and people who already love classical music or are keen to discover more about it.

VF KIDS

Workshops and performances that invite children to discover music through a world of imagination

Opera Dahu

Opera Dahu introduces children to an imaginary world filled with legends and myths told through opera. Children become actors, singers, dancers, scenographers and costume designers. After four days of workshops, the children perform their own version of Puccini's La Bohème. For ages 5 to 8 (mornings) and 9 to 12 (afternoons).

Storytellers

Combining, music, art and reading, children discover the classic tale of the three little pigs set to an unlikely musical accompaniment—Beethoven's Fifth Symphony. Four days of reading, drawing and music appreciation workshops lead to a final public performance. For ages 5 to 8 (mornings) and 9 to 12 (afternoons).

OPEN AIR

Discover the Verbier Festival at new heights with these casual concerts and events in (or with a view of) the spectacular Swiss Alps!

Music in Motion

Performances aboard Verbier’s ski lift cabins—the smallest and most mobile concert halls in the world—and musical hikes through the Alps.

Reading

The power of the spoken word can be music to the ears, especially when read by the Festival's biggest stars in the intimate Église protestante de Verbier.

Parties

Let loose with fellow Festival-goers and musicians at Unlimited's legendary Karaoke Lyrique, the second annual Nuit Coucou and the Festival's Closing Late Late Night Dance Party.

Windows Concerts
