We want you to book your tickets without worry. We’ve therefore eased our policy on ticket refunds and transfers so you can plan to be with us this summer at no-risk.
easing of ticket refund policy
We guarantee to refund tickets that have been cancelled by ticketholders up to 24 hours before the performance in the following cases:
- a confirmed case of Covid-19 by the ticketholder, upon presentation of a medical certificate;
- the closing of borders of the ticketholder’s country of residence, preventing him or her from arriving in Verbier to attend the performance; or
- an obligation to quarantine between Switzerland and the ticketholder’s country of residence, preventing him or her from arriving in Verbier to attend the performance.
For all other circumstances resulting from health or administrative consequences of the Covid-19 pandemic, the Festival undertakes to examine the claim for refund and make a determination case by case. We encourage all ticket buyers to consult the Festival’s General Terms and Conditions.
venue seating and contact tracing
This year, in the interest of contact tracing, all seating is reserved for Mainstage concerts at Salle des Combins and the Église de Verbier, and at Unlimited performances at Espace Saint-Marc. Venue capacities have been reduced to allow physical distancing. Single or paired seating is offered in these venues. Additional contact tracing measures will be put in place for other performance venues and for masterclasses, open-rehearsals, talks and public workshops. Tickets—for both paid and free events—will be electronically scanned at venue entrances. Each ticket is valid for one entry on the date specified on the ticket and must bear the name of the person who presents it. Should you wish to transfer your ticket to another person, we ask that you inform the Ticket Office up to 24 hours before performance or event; this may be done by telephone or online.
You will be sent a confirmation by email once your tickets have been processed, allowing you to download them from your online client account. In the interest of reducing the handling of paper tickets, we encourage Festivalgoers to upload their tickets to their personal mobile devices for presentation at venue entrances. It’s a friendly gesture for our planet too!
Prior to each performance, you will receive an email message to remind you what time you should arrive at the concert venue and of any evolving safety measures, including a reminder to pack your mask. We do this to ensure your safety and that of your fellow Festivalgoers.

Our Festival safety team members will be easily identifiable at every performance and will guide you in accordance with current health regulations.They will be working to implement the latest health protocols applicable at the time of the Festival, from providing anti-bacterial gel to ensuring masks are worn.
