Where stories come to life. Four musical tales to experience throughout the Festival: a king who bans music, narrated by Marthe Keller; the children of the Storytellers Camp on stage in L’Enfant et les sortilèges; childhood memories shared by Sheku Kanneh-Mason; and a musical glimpse into Pushkin’s world.

The Storytellers Camp is the summer edition of our annual programme in classrooms across French-speaking Switzerland. Led by professional artists, the camp offers a week of creativity through theatre, music, illustration and visual arts. Each day includes artistic workshops, musical picnics with Verbier Festival Academy musicians, and moments of collaborative creation.

Discovery workshops awaken the senses. Le Petit Labo Musical introduces toddlers to sound, Les Petits Explorateurs try out musical instruments, and Les Petits Mélomanes get a behind-the-scenes look at the orchestra in rehearsal.
Swiss traditions take the spotlight too, with Les Petits Explorateurs Suisses and our Ateliers Coucou, where kids craft traditional percussion instruments and magical lanterns to join the Nuit Coucou procession on Swiss National Day.

Music, nature and mountain air. VF KiDS heads outdoors with family adventures across the Alps. With Gondoliers, Academy musicians turn ski lift cabins into tiny concert halls. Follow forest trails to Yapado Yapadam—a musical tale about caring for the planet. A special family Buskers edition brings surprise performances to UNLTD Avenue (Rue de Médran). At La Chaux, BimBamBoum erupts with sound as Bab et les Chats rock the stage. And on Swiss National Day, Nuit Coucou lights up Verbier with a magical show and lantern-and-percussion parade.

FIREBIRD DRAWING CONTEST
