Stéphanie Huang

Biography

Stéphanie Huang was named a Révélation ADAMI Classique in 2021. She began learning the cello with her mother from a very young age. At age 12, she made her debut at the Théâtre Royal de la Monnaie in Brussels, where she performed Tchaikovsky’s Variations on a Rococo Theme. She studied at the Koninklijk Conservatorium in Brussels with Jeroen Reuling and at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris, where she was taught by Marc Coppey and Emmanuelle Bertrand. Earlier this year, Stéphanie was named Laureate and Audience Award Winner of the Queen Elisabeth Competition (Brussels). She is also Laureate of the Dexia, Suggia (Porto), and Società Umanitaria (Milan) Competitions, and of the SPES, Meyer, and Kriegelstein Foundations. She was recently awarded the Bourse d’Excellence Patrick Petit. Since September 2020, Stéphanie has been an artist in residence at the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel, where she is taught by Gary Hoffman.
