Mathilde Milwidsky

Biography

Mathilde Milwidsky currently studies in Munich with Mi-kyung Lee. She was the only British violinist selected for the 2019 Queen Elisabeth Competition and in the same year won Third prize at the Windsor Festival International String Competition, First Prize and Audience Prize at the Aurora Music Competition in Sweden and First Prize at the 2017 Royal Overseas League Competition. She has performed as a soloist in venues such as the Royal Festival Hall and the Wigmore Hall and has collaborated with artists including Anthony Marwood, Christian Poltera, Rosanne Philippens and pianist Sam Haywood, with whom she recorded her debut album released by Toccata Classics in 2020.
