Rolando Luna Trio

Winner of the Montreux Jazz Competition and one of Cuba’s most inventive pianists, Rolando Luna has appeared on more than 200 albums and shared the stage with leading voices in jazz and Latin music. Hand-picked by Omara Portuondo to join the Buena Vista Social Club, he carries forward the spirit of Havana’s golden age while reinventing it for today. With his trio, he weaves modern jazz, habanera and son cubano into playing that’s both refined and fiery — music that feels alive, an intimate and spontaneous conversation with the soul of Cuba.
