As the shuttle winds up toward La Croix de Cœur, watch the Val de Bagnes slowly shift into day. At the summit—2,173 metres above sea level—you’re welcomed with a live set of music and poetry as the sun rises over the peaks. Afterwards, gather for a sweet and savoury buffet breakfast at the mountain restaurant before heading back to Verbier. It’s a calm, memorable way to ease into the first day of the Festival—in nature, with good company, and no rush.
