Take the gondola from Médran to Le Châble, then a bus to Champsec, where the walk begins. Guided by mountain expert Cherries, you’ll climb gently through forests and meadows to reach the small village of Lourtier. Along the way, learn about the dramatic landslides of 2024 and the valley’s incredible resilience. Music and local stories accompany you throughout the walk, creating a vivid and memorable encounter with the heart of the Val de Bagnes.
Walk Details
Outbound
- By gondola: Médran > Le Châble
- By bus: Le Châble > Champsec
- By foot: Champsec > Lourtier > Concert at Hôtel la Vallée at 11:30
Return
- Make your way back at your own pace, either by the same route or by bus from Lourtier to Le Châble and on to Verbier by gondola.
