Young Talents at the Verbier Festival
They were not even born in 1994 when Martin Engstroem founded the Verbier Festival. This week, we shine a spotlight on musicians all under the age of 32… Whether they’re already international stars like Klaus Mäkelä, or taking to the Verbier stage for the very first time like Ekaterina Bonyushkina—just 22 years old—they all share one thing: extraordinary talent.
Take a chance on them. Be curious. Your presence is more than applause—it’s a show of belief, support, and openness to the future of music. You might just witness a defining moment, as past audiences did when they first saw in Verbier artists like Yuja Wang, Evgeny Kissin, or Daniil Trifonov in their early twenties.
As Oscar Wilde put it, “Youth is an Art.” Come and experience it in all its brilliance with these outstanding young performers!
