Born in Moscow in 2003, Ekaterina Bonyushkina began her musical journey at age six. Four years later, she entered the Gnessin State Musical College for studies with Evgeny Talisman and Boris Berezovsky. Ekaterina gave her first public recital 2014. The same year, she made her debut in the Great Hall of the Moscow Conservatory with the Musica Viva Orchestra and Alexander Rudin. She honed her skills through masterclasses, including, in 2019, as a junior student at the Verbier Festival Academy. Ekaterina’s talent has been recognised with awards from competitions such as the Jeune Chopin Competition, the Grand Piano Competition (Moscow), and the Geneva International Junior Piano Competition. She now studies with Nelson Goerner and has released two CDs featuring works by Bach, Schumann, Schubert, and Chopin.
