Martha Argerich will no longer perform at the Festival this year due to medical reasons.
Mao Fujita will replace Martha Argerich at Salle des Combins on 18.07 at 19:00, performing Beethoven’s Concerto for Piano No. 2. The second half of the programme remains the same, with a performance of the Ninth Symphony with the Verbier Festival Orchestra, esteemed soloists and the Münchener Bach-Chor.
On 21.07 at 19:00, Sergei Babayan will replace
Martha Argerich performing Rachmaninov’s Symphonic Dances for two pianos Op. 45 with Daniil Trifonov, as originally programmed.
