Sonata for Solo Violin No. 2 in A minor, BWV 1003
Sonata for Solo Violin No. 3 in C major, BWV 1005
- Kristóf Baráti violin
Kristóf Baráti, one of the most legendary musicians of his generation, gives his interpretation of Bach’s three Sonatas for Solo Violin. Composed around 1720, Bach’s six Sonatas and Partitas for Solo Violin went relatively unknown until the virtuosic violinists Joseph Joachim, Adolf Busch, and Georges Enesco transformed them into treasures of the violin repertoire.
